Barbara took this trip not on a
cruise ship but on an "ice
breaker". They were able to travel
further North into the Arctic ice
pack on this trip than many
excursions before them. She
visited the native settlements of
the region and took multiple
helicopter excursions from the ship
each day to get the amazing
photographs you will see.

monk, followed by his search for the
"historic Buddha". It is very well
written and contrasting story about
the life of the Buddha as compared
to the traditional story.
